The classes for primary school children organized within the framework of all the educational actions of the Project (at the KESPEMs, as well as at schools) are based on the use of personal computers, in order to make pedagogical use of games and of children’s great attraction to new technologies. It is for this purpose that two electronic educational games have been produced, designed on the basis of the language needs of children and the pedagogical principles of the Project. The enamored knight who is searching for his beloved in the castle of the letters and the chest (or coffer) that is searching for its wheels through the world and throughout history lead the children to fascinating voyages in the field of knowledge, turning the lesson into a game that motivates curiosity, that guides towards research aimed at discovering new (cognitive) information, that concentrates on reward and treats mistakes as steps in the gradual process toward the mastery of knowledge. Thus learning becomes pleasure and a creative adventure.
