Having as a goal to improve minority children’s command of the Greek language and their school performance, the KESPEMs organize multi-faceted activities and offer various services. In the current, fourth, phase of the Project (2010-13) the KESPEMs, expanding on the work done in the previous phases, provide or offer the following:
- Greek language and Natural Sciences classes for primary-school kids, through electronic educational materials and educational computer games -- during the school year and in the summer;
- Vocational guidance and career counseling seminars for children in the last grades of secondary school and in the first grades of high school.
- Summer Greek language classes for primary and secondary school pupils, and also classes aimed at helping referred pupils of secondary schools in all courses.
- Daily support for secondary and high school pupils in their school courses;
- Pedagogical activities for pre-school children;
- Reading clubs for children and adolescents;
- Greek language classes to parents (mainly mothers) of Minority children;
- Turkish-language classes to primary and secondary education teachers;
- Books and other educational material to primary- and secondary-education teachers;
- Book- and material-lending to pupils and teachers;
- Creative activities for children and young people (the Creative Youth Workshops – DENs);
